Jay with jazz great vocalist Spider Saloff after thrilling accompaniment of "Wings" (1927) at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois in 2003. Spider sang the original love theme from the academy award-winning silent as an overture and then implemented parts during the film. This was a terrific event in February of 2004 celebrating African American Heritage Month with a packed crowd on hand. It was the first silent film shown at the old Central Park Theatre since 1928 and the first film of any kind in 33 years!
