Here's Jay at Sally's Stage in Chicago ready to play a short silent comedy way back in 1985. The screen would be lowered behind you, and you'd look back over your shoulder to accompany the film. Ouch! Wow!

Here come the Hawks! No silent film this time. Here I am having some fun back in the day on the six manual Chicago Stadium Barton as the guest of Blackhawks organist Frank Pellico. "That's hockey baby!"
This is a fabulous place - the Crimi Auditorium at Aurora University - home of the beautiful Letourneau pipe organ. Our friend Erik (the Phantom) would be very jealous of this pipe organ.
Here I am leading the cheers for the Hawaiian Dancers after we performed (they: dance; me: music) right before "Hula" (1927) starring Clara Bow at the Gateway Theater. Mahalo!

Jay with jazz great vocalist Spider Saloff after thrilling accompaniment of "Wings" (1927) at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois in 2003. Spider sang the original love theme from the academy award-winning silent as an overture and then implemented parts during the film. The capacity house loved it!

A turn-away crowd at the Filament Theater for Harold Lloyd in HOT WATER (1924) for the 2016 Silent Summer Film Festival. As usual, our digital Wurlitzer filled the room beautifully and was a big hit with the audience!

This was a terrific event in February of 2004 celebrating African American Heritage Month with a packed crowd on hand. It was the first silent film shown at the old Central Park Theatre since 1928 and the first film of any kind in 33 years!
The new management at the Portage Theater came up with this cool poster for the theater's reopening. Pretty slick. Thanks guys.

This was a fundraiser for the 16 rank Hillgreen-Lane pipe organ with Jay providing the photoplay accompaniment for Cecil B. DeMille's lavish 1927 spectacle "The King of Kings."
